2020 Installation and Awards Luncheon
Nearly 200 CAR Members and Guests gathered at the Olde Towne Athletic Club for our Annual Installation and Awards Luncheon, where we recognized our 2019 Leadership and Award winners, and installed our 2020 Officers and Directors.
In attendance were senior representatives of the Georgia Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, the Georgia Real Estate Commission, the Georgia Women’s Council of REALTORS®, surrounding REALTOR® Associations and CAR Membership. 2019 CAR President Bruce Ailion of RE/MAX Town & Country passed the gavel to incoming 2020 President Jenea Kennedy of Berkshire Hathaway HomeService, who was installed by Ms. Lisa Robinson, Broker/Owner of Robinson 105 and Associate Broker at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.
Five Annual Awards were bestowed on CAR Members whose personal dedication and leadership were exemplary in the achievement of the Association’s mission, which is “To Advance the Rights of Property Owners, The Prosperity of our Community, The Integrity of our Profession, and The Success of our Members.” Said outgoing President Bruce Ailion, “It was my honor and privilege to serve as President this year. We set aggressive goals towards serving our Members, our Cobb County Community and our Real Estate Profession, and thanks to my superb Leadership Team, we exceeded them all”.

Judi Wilcher, a 23 year survivor of breast cancer, welcomed Clara Carrasco and Spenser Corley of Ameris Bank to the stage, in support of our friend and 2018 Affiliate of the Year, Ameris Bank VP Stacie Riddle, who is herself battling breast cancer. All attendees put on their pink “Stacie Strong” Wristband, demonstrating their best wishes, thoughts and prayers for Stacie’s full recovery.
Finally, attendees generously donated nearly 100 toys to our Cobb Christmas drive, which ensures that kids and families in Cobb County who need them will not go without.
